Way too much time has passed

Wow, it has been quite some time since I have made a post! January!! Now I allowed too much time to pass by without writing!! Well, to be honest I have been busy, occupied, not motivated, distracted, sad, and even in mourning. Yes so many events have transpired since I wrote last. I will start with February and work my way to present.

For years I have had the desire to go to the Bahamas and I have been speaking it into existence since 2000. So one day I am driving and a commercial comes on the radio about a $118 trip to the Bahamas and I say, "gimmick", then pop in a CD. After the CD played the radio is on and the same commercial is on and I say, "gimmick", and pop in another CD. After that CD played I go to put in another and guess what? You guessed it...the same commercial is on! This time I say,"Let me call this number and see if this thing is really real." I am on my way to volunteer at a breast cancer pink out prom in support of my Soror who is a breast cancer over comer. I call the number and speak with a representative who I kept on the phone for almost 2 hours! Yeah that's right 2 whole hours! I had to be sure this was legit after I agreed to give my credit card number over the phone for the company to take $118.00 out of my account. I know, you would not have dared give your number for a $118.00 trip to the Bahamas so someone could jack up your account, leave you broke, and looking stupid. Well I did!! I not only gave the $118.00 for 3 nights 2 days on a cruise to the Bahamas for 2 but I gave an extra $199.00 to add on 3 days 2 nights in Fort Lauderdale Florida with breakfast , lunch, and dinner included, plus an upgrade to ocean view. So that I did not have to choose between 3 sisters I took my very close friend Unique with me. We had a marvelous time in Florida!! 

 

After Florida we take a drive to get on the Bahamas Celebration Cruise Ship!! Yahhhh!! 

  

We both are so excited like two little kids in a room full of all the candy we could eat!! We go through all of the documentation needed to board, we choose our drinks for the cruise, we schedule a full body massage and go to our ocean view cabin!! Well, we get to the cabin only to find that it was like a closet!! I am like oh heck no!! I have claustrophobia and cannot be in here!! lol I go to the front to ask what happened to the ocean view and was apologized to because they made a big mistake and now there are no ocean view cabins available but they will refund the $199.00. Ok no worries we enjoyed 3 days 2 nights in Florida with all meals included and now we are on the way to the Bahamas all for $118.00!! We tour the ship while waiting for our luggage and once it came we showered and prepared for our fully body massage...AHHHHH!! I truly needed this! We scheduled the massage during a time it would be complete so that we could see the ship leave the port. Gosh it was so beautiful all I could do was praise God and tear up!!

 

 

During the time on the cruise we had so much fun! A great dinner with magnificent service, of course we hit the casino, danced, and did karaoke :) Now my birthday was February 18 and that is the day we docked in Grand Bahama Island. I was so totally excited because honestly all I wanted to do was get in the pretty water and lay on the beach...that is exactly what I did. Oh yes there was much eye candy there but I was there to spread my wings and enjoy God's great creation. So priceless!!

  The entire day was so marvelous!! Laughs, tears, excitement, happiness!! What more could a fabulous 40 year young woman such as myself ask for? We walked around and shopped until it was time to go back to the ship and get ready for my birthday dinner. We both got Diva-fied for dinner and more fun but boy was I so sleepy and tired!! Lol Can't sleep now it is my 40th birthday!! We go to dinner and the staff sang Happy Birthday to me and presented me with a cute little personal cake after my tasty dinner. 

 

 This was the best birthday a beautiful woman as my self could have ever asked for!! HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY ALICIA aka HEALEDLEE aka GOD'S FAVORITE DAUGHTER!!!

After the cruise Unique and I stop in Deltona to surprise my mommy and my little sister...

 This is how I stay happy and content in my life, I live life to the fullest despite the hardships that may try to come my way. What the enemy meant for bad God turned around for my good!! This is why I can say I WILL LIVE!!
